The beautiful Queen Street Gardens in Edinburgh is one of our regular clients.
High winds in May caused the loss of a limb from a mature Elm at the south boundary. Sadly this meant that the tree was dangerous and had to be condemned.
The size of the tree and its location over a busy Edinburgh thoroughfare presented challenging conditions. Clearly a straight-fell was out of the question!
After putting traffic control measures in place, we used heavy rigging techniques to carry out a highly controlled sectional fell.
Our highly talented climber Elan made this video of the dismantling process.
